Kicking back after a long day of walking uphill and catching buses. Chilling with the roommate at the end of the day, watching Breakfast at Tiffany's on Valentine's eating Rocky Road chocolate having a dog on the lap and the another laying on feet. Heading out to the city and getting back pass 10, walking in heels up the steep street back home looking up to see the starry night, cool breeze blowing through the hair, humming our way back home. Having a jog around the park in the windy and sunny afternoon. Waking up to "Girls, breakfast is ready!". :P

Are things different? Yes they are.

This is definitely a new change of lifestyle.

I'm fortunate enough to live with cool individuals that I can click with.

Tracy, Theobe and "somerandomguy" ;) kidding.

I love being able to rely on buses and how convenient it is to use the public transportation.

People here are friendlier. ~~Or at least they pretend to be.~~

However, there isn't one moment that passes where I don't miss my friends back home.

Today was orientation day.
Hmm... you would think that the students here could at least hold a conversation in Engrish.

I was shocked. Many couldn't. Majority spoke Mandarin and Cantonese.

I am so far the only Malaysian I know. Haha. How about that?

I've officially met the biggest people and the biggest nerds.

Sitting together they are sober but they are acting like they are drunk snorting away and joking about their sandwiches that they had. Making odd statements that silenced the entire class making the situation awkward. I found it rather amusing at first but then having to be surround by hundreds of 'em speaking pretty much every language but english.

Yesterday, I met up with my mum's client's son.
He just came back from Australia and have only one good thing to say about his time there
"transportation is convenient but!"
...but a million of things he disliked.
Boy, he was a big blob of... complaints and criticism!
He was, non other than Mr. fault-finding.

Imagine if this was The Sims,
I would have had two no scratch that three gigantic red negatives on my head!
- - - !!
Take that :P

I'm fed up of hearing people going "Ah, you think you know so much, but you've never experienced it. I should know better, I have. Just you wait."
When I reply "Well, I have heard of many others who did have good experiences, I've not experienced much, yes I do know that, but then again, I will never really know until I experienced from myself will I? What makes you think just because you did not have a good experience, I would end up the same?"

Two reactions:

a) They'll shake their head, and switch topic.
b) They'll respond quickly "Ah.... Yeah yeah.. .. It ehh... really differs from people also."

I do listen to people who have had their knowledge about things I don't know,
but you don't go around telling people in that kinda manner.
Reality bites.
See what I'm doing is, instead of feeling over-anxious and end up a wreck before I even begin, I'm trying to face it with a positive attitude.

Don't you see? I'm not saying I know.
But I'm willing to put up with it and have MY own experiences may it good or bad.
I may not like it, I may, who's to say?

Just because you don't have a single friend there and pretty much it seems like you hate everything there, doesn't mean I will.

Well, here's my experience,
Mr.Ex piano teacher told me that for me to get prepared for Grade 4 Theory from not even completing Grade 3, requires a lot of work. He said he wasn't sure I could.
I told him I will work hard but what I was thinking Grade 5 even?
He laughed and said "Whoa. That's impossible. EVEN I can't."
For every class, instead of encouraging me when I struggled, he just went " I told you so. "
To the extent I got so tired putting up with him.
He got fired.

Said it wasn't going to be easy but there is no harm trying. In the end, I did it.
See, if I stuck with that negative piece of shit hee hee I swear I couldn't have.
Though it wasn't because he was a pessimist
but simply his teaching is "too advanced" for me to understand. Idiot.

I remember just wasting away in front of the computer screen for hours and hours on The Sims.
Just downloaded the soundtracks and just thought wow.. all the memories.
As soon as you hear that "EA Games.. Challenge Everything." and that epic Sims music, you escape reality and suddenly the world is in the palm of your hands and life just got so much better. Fast forwarding shower time, sleeping time, talking to a mirror to gain Charisma time, reading books to gain Logic time, and pause when you get robbed and start buying furnitures to block the path of the robber from getting to your house (or when you have bad parenting skills and the lady comes to steal your baby) . Finding new ways to kill someone by drowning them in the pool and taking out the pool ladder, building a fence around them and just watch them pee and complain or simply, not having any skills at cooking and burn down the house.
Watching them speak a fictional gibberish unknown language whilst trying to figure out what language that was.

Carefree times.
Ah. GOOD times Good times.. . (:

Just got back from shopping with Mom and Lil' Brother John. (:

John and I went to POPULAR bookstore.

I was taking my sweet time looking mostly at things I want although I was supposed to only look for things I need as there wasn't much time left. So, I've got what I need and I was just looking around at stuff.

John was tagging along and going " No. You don't need that. Doonn'tt do it. No. "

Just as I was about to walk to the counter I decided to just "take a look" at the notepads section. Couldn't resist. I then came across a black notebook that I really wanted.
Was thinking of buying it just cause' but then I thought to myself

" Well, when will I be using this though.."

Plus it was a little pricey.

Anyways, I just kind of stood there for some time.
John came looking for me and seeing me in the state that I was in he started chuckling while shaking his head. He went " Whhhyyy? You really like this book? "
I nodded. He sighed and walked away.

Moments later,

I walked towards the counter. Finally, ready to pay.

I was searching for him that is until I saw him walking towards me with a shopping bag. He had already paid for his stuff! Didn't even wait for me :(

I suppose I made him wait too long? :P

Anywho, I paid for my stuff and off we went to shop for groceries.

As we were in the car while on our way back home, he tapped on my shoulder.

I turned around as he pulled out the black notebook I wanted and handed over to me and went "Nah" I was so happy! Its Lil' Brother John!

It was unexpected of him and oh so sweet.

This will be my birthday gift from him.

I love you John John. :)

Spent the last 2 years getting to what's real and now I can see so clear.

Joshua turned 21 yesterday.

So is the first day of school which was great.

Christmas ended too soon. I miss it already. ):

Holidays are soon to be over too and then there's new year.

Christmas was great.
I missed playing guitar at church and have little kids sing-along,
missed counting down till' Christmas,
missed being with my mom decorating the Christmas tree,
missed the feeling of peace that day.
I just absolutely love seeing Christmas decorations everywhere I go and soothing Christmas music.
It somewhat puts my mind at ease.
I'll be seeing red soon. :P

23rd Of December was Wai Mun's Sweet 16!
In the morn Miki, Sharon and I went over to her house to surprise her.
Sharon had to leave awhile later cause' she wasn't feeling too good.
Poor baby ):
We then met up with Andy at the train station and waited
and waited... and waited for the train.
Reached Sunway and the boys were at Red Box Karaoke.
They sang Wai Mun the birthday song
and attacked the cake a second later.
The rest of the day the girls pretty much just walked around while the boys ate like there was no tomorrow.:P
After it all, Wai Mun, Chun Cheat, Andy, Derrick and I went over to Derrick's place where the boys played FIFA.

Justine, Mandy and I head to Sunway Pyramid.

Had breakfast at O'Briens. We then shop till' we drop. Well, I did. Left the mall feeling broke but was it worth it? Ohh yeeaah :P

After that we had lunch at Sushi Zanmai. We were pretty stuffed so we hadn't had much. Instead, we took plenty of pictures. One picture after

another, time just went by. We then had ~~way too much~~ ice cream. YUM.

After the mall we went to church.

So its Deepavali 2009.

Was in my room doing my stuff and I was somehow unaware of the noise of the fireworks outside my house.
Then I looked at the time and it showed 11.57 p.m.
Its only then I could actually "hear" the sound of fireworks.
Then only did it hit me. Deepavali!
Opened the curtains, took a little look outside my window and went
" Oh wow. " :D
My face just lit up by the sight of colorful fireworks displayed from different directions.
Just weren't able to fix my greedy eyes on one spot.
They were pretty much all over the place. (the fireworks & my eyes) :P
This is by far the most beautiful night I've seen in 2009.
Then again, there's Christmas.
I can't wait!

Went to Sunway Lagoon that Friday with
Aubrey, Poh Kiat, Sharon, Andy & Mandy.
It was a great day.

After it all however. . . Ugh.
Though I remembered applying 2 or more layers of lotion on my face,
I came back with my face burnt. This just shows how sensitive my skin is.
Whats worse, I had sore throat and a clogged left ear.

Good news, my throat is alright now.
Bad news, my left ear is still clogged and its already the 3rd day.

Went to the doctor yesterday and he gave me ear drops as my ear canal is red. Probably cause' I tried almost all methods possible and cause further damage to it.
Now, I'm a little afraid I damaged my eardrum from all the attempts using Q tips.
I can hear a little but there's this ringing noise that's always there.
Anyways, if things don't get better,
I'm going to see a ear specialist.
I'm a little surprised at how calm I am though.
People around me are freaking out more than I do.
Its kinda cool that I did not let paranoia take over this time.
At least not yet. Hee.

Hope it's no biggie and I'll get my hearing back.
But you know, it could be worse, I could have both ears clogged.
See, I'm looking at the glass half full. :D

Just came back from my cousin sisters' wedding.
The Bryan & Kelly wedding.
Gosh. She's all grown up now.
Few years back she was fighting bulimia, now she's married.

Then last night I had this a weird dream.

Later on today, when I was about to watch the television, I noticed that the television remote are missing its batteries since it was a new one.
So I wasn't actually sure why but I then went to the toilet to check thinking there might be a slight possibility that the batteries are there.

We had Prize Giving Day at school just a few days ago.
They had a"Puteri Gunung Ledang" play and the 6 of us

Anyways, we were required to dance not once but twice in the play which by the way isn't exactly a good thing. Hee.
It was a pretty embarassing for me but it was fun.

Plus we got to skip some really boring classes so I guess it was worth it?

Ya know usually I have the Monday Blues but today turned out pretty okay.
It would've been a better day if it weren't for this morning when Diana said she's leaving to this international school and tomorrow is gonna be her last day.
